Despite an impressive number being present, several versions of Spider-Man were cut from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The sequel to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse catches up with Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) over a year after he first became Spider-Man. While Into the Spider-Verse saw Spider-Man variants join Miles in an adventure in his reality, Earth-1610, Across the Spider-Verse saw Miles embark on a multiversal adventure of his own. Journeying to a futuristic Nueva York on Earth-928, Miles comes face-to-face with the Spider Society, a massive group of interdimensional Spider-People led by Miguel O’Hara, a.k.a. Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac), tasked with protecting the stability of the Spider-Verse.
