Since its announcement in 2020, Star Wars’ Lando show has received few updates, with the show’s writer confirming that the project is still paused. Lando was initially announced at Disney’s Investor Day in 2020 along with a slew of other Star Wars Disney+ shows, some that have come to fruition and some that have not. The show was set to center on the titular smuggler and smooth-talking ally of Han Solo and would bring back Donald Glover in the role after his performance in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
