A deleted scene from Star Trek: Insurrection shows Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Commander William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) adorably flirting. Along with the rest of the USS Enterprise-E’s crew, Riker and Troi were affected by the rejuvenating energies of the Briar Patch, and it sparked their mutual attraction. The Enterprise’s Counselor and First Officer grew much closer during Star Trek: Insurrection, which led to some amusingly affectionate moments between Troi and Riker.
